Learn about Family Friendship Program...Drew University alumna and Japan native, Midori Tagawa, worked from 2012-2015 as an intern with Madison Borough Hall. As strong advocate of the international students at Drew, Midori was always coming up with ideas to help students get the most out of their time in the U.S. She thought it would be great if Drew international students had the opportunity to connect with Madison families for a cultural exchange. Students could learn about American life and traditions and they could share their own stories with Madison families. Jim Burnet, Assistant Administrator of Borough Hall, gave his support and energy to the idea and it became the Family and Friendship Program. |

Tilghman House
The International Student Center has moved to Tilghman House! We look forward to hosting many events in our newly renovated space.
The Victorian home, built in 1894, was one of three buildings built by the Wilder family. The building was later purchased by Sidell Tilghman, a direct descendant of English barons appointed at the signing of the Magna Carta in 1215. In the 1960's, Tilghman sold the home to Drew University. |
